BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Here at Brixton Church there is always something that needs to be done, and we are grateful for those blessed souls who are willing to help and give of themselves. Whether it is a painting project for a local school, a fun run to raise funds and awareness or extra hands to help out with our many ministries - you are so welcome and indeed encouraged to volunteer.
In keeping with our desire to be fully active in this new technological age, we have set up a WhatsApp group that will be updated with local volunteer opportunities – not only for our churches denomination but opportunities to give to our sibling churches too. For surely it matters less who is serving the community but rather that the community is being served.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
Living in a big city like Johannesburg there is so much need and terrible poverty. It weighs heavily on our hearts when people come and ask for a bit of food to get them through the day and our food cupboard is bare. Nothing gives us greater comfort than to be able to stand in the gap for others and provide them with something to eat. If you would like to help stock our food cupboard we would be very grateful for non-perishables as well as second hand clothing in a good condition as well as baby products and men’s shoes.
