PRAYER EMBRACES EVERYTHING

“Prayer is life and life is prayer”. These words made me realize how prayer embraces everything in the life of God’s children. Prayer is a gift to us who pray and therefore trying to pray is also praying. It is to be present in the company of God.

Prayer is an invitation to be united with God and to be willing to live according to the will of God. It becomes the way in which we start living a life of discernment. We follow Jesus on a daily basis and prayer is the way in which we are willing to change, learn, and grow spiritually.

We have to be vulnerable and transparent in our walk with God in prayer. It is a relationship with God. As we grow in our relationship with God we become free to respond to God’s love. This freedom gives us the opportunity to grow in depth and we start to see as God see, and to hear as God hear, and to do what God wants us to do.

It becomes an exciting journey with God as we pray. We find God, relate to Him, fall in love with Him, and then become willing to pay the cost of being His disciple!

May we grow in our relationship with God through our prayers and may we know ourselves better though our prayer life!
